Working whilst away
Anyone who works for themselves will identify with the pressure of taking time off. Getting the balance right can be quite a challenge.
Even when you work in an organisation, switching off can be a real challenge.
By using Microsoft OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams, I can work from anywhere in the world- so long as I have a decent internet connection! - that is why I hire an office whenever I deliver a webinar from abroad!
We have just over a week left of our time in Florida and I am starting to feel sad about leaving our children and grandchildren here.
We had the festival of Purim last Friday where the children and many adults dressed up and then on Sunday a delightful visit to West Palm Beach Zoo.
Monday morning was spent working full on, preparing for a busy time once we are home. I have a lot of Virtual Live Training sessions booked in for the end of April and May and I need to make sure that the sessions are all planned out and slide decks created where needed.
If you want to discuss training for your team, do get in touch so we can get you booked in! Just drop an email to shelley@tomorrowsva.com.

Celebrations Celebrations 🥳🎂
Today, we celebrate a milestone birthday for my husband. Our son who does not live here in the US will be flying in on Wednesday for a week. We are off to Orlando for the weekend ending up at the Kennedy Space Centre next Sunday. We then return to Hollywood, Florida where we are staying.
We fly home next Tuesday landing on Wednesday morning and I know from previous trips that Thursday and Friday will be a bit of a fog!
I am planning to send out a newsletter next Thursday, but if everything becomes too busy then the newsletter will take a break for a week.
This week's Microsoft 365 Tip
Streamline File Management with OneDrive, SharePoint and Teams
OneDrive and SharePoint are powerful tools for managing and sharing files.
OneDrive is ideal for personal storage and sharing files with specific individuals, while SharePoint is perfect for team and organisation-wide collaboration.
By understanding the differences and using each tool effectively, you can streamline your file management process. For example, use OneDrive for work-in-progress documents and SharePoint for finalised documents that need to be shared with the entire team.
When working in Microsoft Teams, you may not realise that you are in fact working in SharePoint. Whenever a Team is created, a document library is created with it, and documents stored here are available to ALL members of the team.
The only time members of a team may not have access to a document in Teams is when it is stored in a Private Channel. Only those invited to a Private Channel can see posts, files, and apps inside that channel.
My assistant and I use Microsoft Teams to keep each other up to date on what is going on including bits and bobs for this newsletter. It works brilliantly!
