The PA Show is finally here
Hello there everyone. I am writing this from The PA Show. It has finally arrived. We flew over on Sunday and have had a very busy week so far. Today is Wednesday the first day of the show and it has been full on.
I have been talking to lots of lovely Assistants and presented a session in the VA Theatre on Saving Money and Boosting Productivity with Microsoft Applications. It went down really well.
Tomorrow is a full-on day with 3 sessions on different topics to be delivered in the tech theatre.
We then fly off to Florida on Sunday to see our 2 children who live there. Next week's newsletter and tips will come from The Sunshine State.
Here I am on my stand at The PA Show at almost the end of day 1!

Weekly Excel Tip
Using Named Ranges for Easier Formulas
Named Ranges in Excel allow you to assign a name to a specific cell or range of cells, making it easier to reference them in your formulas. This can help make your formulas more readable and reduce errors.
To create a Named Range, select the cell or range of cells you want to name, go to the "Formulas" tab, and click on "Define Name." Enter a name for the range and click "OK." You can now use this name in your formulas instead of cell references.
For example, instead of writing =SUM(A1:A10), you can write =SUM(SalesData) if you named the range "SalesData"
